An open hopper slowly vanishes into the darkness at the south portal of tunnel number two. This is a shot that benefited quite a bit from some care in exposure. The auto-exposure circuitry in a camera would have tried to over-expose this shot, brightening the dark colors and shadows. June 13, 2002, 5:18 PM |
