The Katrin S. followed a regular route in the Caribbean. From my
perspective, this route began in Miami, since this is where I boarded.
From there the ship proceeded to Freeport (The Bahamas), Rio Haina
(Dominican Republic), La Guaira (Venezuela), Puerto Cabello (Venezuela),
back to Rio Haina and then to Port Everglades, which is the port at Ft.
Lauderdale, FL. The passengers disembark at this point. The
ship, however, travels on to Jacksonville, FL before heading back south to
Miami where it picks up the passengers for the next voyage. The total
time between voyages is two weeks.
